The house

Secluded, yet in the town.

Woodside sits in its own grounds on Belyars Lane: away from the traffic, and still five minutes’ walk from the centre of St Ives, the beaches, and the railway and bus stations.

Most bedrooms, the public rooms, the gardens and the pool-side terrace look out to the harbour and the coastline.

Suzanne and Chris Taylor bought Woodside in 2003 and welcome guests personally. It is a licensed bed and breakfast hotel, open all year.

Four kinds of room. All en-suite.

Television, clock radio, hairdryer and hot drinks in every room. The house is centrally heated.

    A family room, en-suite. We do not take children under five.

Open from May to September. The pool-side terrace shares the same harbour and coastline views as the gardens and most of the rooms.
